When to pick it
The only design in the gallery with a serif. It slows the tone down, which suits long answers — legal, editorial, education — where the bot is explaining rather than transacting.
How it is built
The serif is scoped to the header and the bot name only; message bodies stay sans for screen legibility at 13px. Serifs at small sizes on screen cost more in readability than they return in character.
Accessibility
14.2:1. The serif is never used below 14px.
Every design in this gallery states that it is an AI assistant at the start of the conversation and honours prefers-reduced-motion. Neither is configurable, because both are obligations rather than preferences.
